Alice has been instructed to gather props for the school production of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Before Alice even decides to visit the jewelry shop, she goes online to look up jewelry items and the sizes of golden rings. In her research, Alice finds that the ring she is interested in has an inner diameter of 0.75 inches. In addition, if the ring were to be cut, it would have the cross-section of a parabola, with dimensions as given in the diagram below.
