Mr. Jones 1st period scored a class average of eighty on a test, let's say that this class had x students in it. Mr. Jones 2nd period scored a class average of ninety-five on the same test, let's say that this class had y students in it. The classes combined had an average of eighty-three. What is the value of x/y? (For the purposes of this problem, assume all averages to be arithmetic mean.)
