Humor - Humor can defuse tension, communicate the teacher's security and confidence, promote trust, and reduce discipline problems. ~or~ Warmth - portray that you are a "real person" by being positive, supportive interpersonal and creating positive classroom relationships. Be frindly, maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate interest in your students as individuals, appear to be open and willing to "work things out" with students, and work hard to help them succeed academically.
