Everyday Ansel Adams -- Composing Everyday Pictures

A Monday Night "Kick it Up a Notch" Class

Lighting is a very important element in any picture. The result of your picture is directly related to the amount of light falling on the subject. This light is reflected into your lens, and onto your media (film, digital, tape, etc.). The control you have over this element varies on every situation. Being able to take advantage of ideal situations, compensate for less than ideal situations, or simply taking over the control of where the light is coming from, are all options to dealing with light.
